Also inscribed verso (this is glazed both sides): "this photograph was taken outside the Price of Wales covert, named after his grandfather when Prince of Wales, who planted a tree in commemoration of it, the photographer tells me it was the only photo HRH has been know to ask to be taken when mounted".
