Description

A good sized engraving by C H Boucher after an original painting by Walter Dendy Sadler. An English artist born in Surrey in 1854. This is a classical example of his work and retains good colour and has lovely detail. This is quite a rare example as not only is it signed by the engraver but also by Sadler himself. It dates from 1907 some 16 years before his death in 1923.

There is a sticker on the rear of the picture from a local gallery. The engraving dates from 1907.
