"Le Phare Winner of the Stewards Cup 1930"

Alfred Thompson 1880-1944. Qualified as a solicitor but preferred to paint instead and was also a prolific illustrator. A fine horseman who fought with the 1st Auxiliary Horse Company in WW1. Oil on board. Signed inscribed with title verso. £825 each
