'The Rutland Prize Ox' Regency Print

A superb late Regency period prize cow print. The print is typical of the genre with the whole scene taken up with the enormous beast. This is a fine quality desirable print with original colouring, and mounted in original bird's eye maple frame. I can find no other examples of this particular print and therfore it must be quite rare and the prize cattle images are very sort after. The whole is in good condition there are a few minor tears to the paper, particularly in the corners but none of which are too visible. The work is dated 1834 and the print would obviously have been taken a short time after this.
