"Venice, with a view of Santa Maria della Salute" by St Clair Augustin Mulholland 1839-1910. Born in Ireland but emigrating to America as a boy, fought with distinction in the American Civil war rising to Brigadier General. Keen artist and traveller. Oil on canvas. Signed, in original frame.
