A mid 19thC portrait of a gentleman. Oil on canvas mounted in its original gilt frame. A little damage to the paint surface but a good un holed canvas. A good characterful face. Inscribed verso on the frame but difficult to make out....Christensen.....possibly Danish ?? No signature.

Overall 36 cms wide by 42 high and 2.5 cms deep. The portrait within 24 cms by 30 cms.
