Artist: Taylor Turner. (19th/20th Century).

Title: "Moonlight across Whitby Harbour".

Signed and dated 1893.

Oil on board. Inscribed with title on the reverse of the painting.

Size: 15"x 9 1/2". Framed size: 19 1/2"x 14".

Now cleaned and framed and in good ready to hang condition.

A lovely atmospheric painting of fishing boats, (known locally as Cobles), returning to Whitby Harbour at the end of the day.

Turner Taylor was a Yorkshire Artist, born in Otley, who exhibited mainly at Yorkshire venues including The Yorkshire Union of Artists, Bradford.
