This is an original painting on ivory panel which dates from the early 20th century and signed by the artist. The watercolour painting in strong gouache colours is extremely finely painted and shows what appears to be a celebratory scene in a beautiful garden with eating, drinking and socialising. There is a beautiful temple in the background as well as a hunting party. The painting is set within a hand painted mount inside a very attractive frame intricately inlaid with ivory and brass. It is in excellent condition and is a good size measuring 54 cms by 35 cms overall including the frame.
