A beautiful and elegant oil on canvas still life of lilies in a vase against a light blue background. The scene is typical of the light and stylish painting of the early twentieth century and has a great both art nouveau and arts and crafts look to it. The painting is signed by monogram and attributed to the artist Alfred Charles Conrade on the reverse a highly trained artist who did exhibit at the Royal Academy in the 1910’s. The frame is a little later than the painting but has been with it for some time and suits it. The whole is in excellent condition.
