Pair of Victorian Drawings in Superb Gilt and Oak Frames

A interesting and very decorative pair of charcoal and chalk drawings, which have been mounted in stunning oak and gilt frames. The drawings will be after famous paintings and are possible students works as they have some areas of naivety, but they have been mounted in the most wonderful frames. The frames are solid oak which at the corners have been mounted with gilt scrolls and rose motifs, they are most impressive. The whole are in good condition, with some repairs having been made to the gilt work. The pair together are very decorative, please be aware there are some reflections in the photos on the glass of the drawings. C.1880.
