A great configuration, having an impressive display rack with period plate bars and central turned columns. This large antique dresser base has a central flight of drawers, two short drawers over three long drawers, all graduating in size and complete with he original knob handles. Flanking the drawers are two stoarge cupboards, again with the original knob handles, inside both cupboards is a single, fixed pine stoarge shelf. All very clean inside, the drawers run well. A superb example of an English antique pine dresser, that dates from around 1840, the cream paint finish is entirely original and period to when the piece was first made for a town house, rather than a country piece. In excellent condition. Splits into two sections.
