A 19thc Oil on Canvas in Untouched Condition

Description

An untouched 19thC oil on canvas in original gilt frame. The picture is in darkened condition and needs thoroughly cleaning and restoring (two small holes). It appears to depict a carraige or cart with horses and figures. It appears well executed but I am not an expert on oils. The frame is original and has not been painted over the gilding however the gesso has got losses.

No signature can be seen and nothing appears on the frame as far as I can see.

60.5 cms by 47 cms overall.
