This is a lovely sized, antique oak Welsh dresser that originates from the Cardiganshire area. In solid oak and in superb, complete and original condition. The oak dresser splits into two sections at the waist. The top half has a central open display rack with period brass cup hooks to hang cups. Flanking the rack are two glazed cupboards, the glass is original and is lovely and wobbly.
Traditionally made using the pegged method, this Welsh antique oak dresser is a good colour and is in excellent condition throughout. Dating from around 1840 and from the Cardiganshire region in Wales.
