This is a truly stunning Middle Eastern hand painted plaque with fine detail and fabulous inlaid designs. The ivory oval panel depicts a travelling group with camels and tents going about their daily tasks, with women cooking over a large pot as well as washing clothes and carrying children. The hand painting is to a very high standard and the inlaid quality frame has incredible detail.

The panel is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. The piece measures 46.5 cms by 40.5 cms overall including the frame.

This dates from the early 20th century, circa 1900.
