A wonderful quality oil on canvas of a foung boy. The boy sits half length in a dark suit with white collar and is holding a red ball. The quality of the painting is superb and the work is signed but it is illegiable. The painting is titled on the reverse: ''the boy with the ball'' but this might be a later addition. The gilt frame is the original and in very good condition. The painting is in excellent condition and a beautiful example of it''s type. C.1910.
