A wonderful pair of oil on canvas marine scenes. The pair show ships at different times of day and the quality of the painting is just wonderful. The scenes have a confidence about them with bold brush strokes and an impressionist feel. The pair are signed but I have been unable to identify the artist. The pair are highly decorative and as a pair hugely desirable. The pair are mounted in modern handmade and gilded frames of the highest quality. The paintings have been cleaned and professional restoration has been done to two very minor holes, the whole are in excellent condition. C.1900.
