A small oil on canvas painting of a Pre Raphaelite type lady. The lady dress in a beautiful purple dress is holding a bunch of flowers and appears to have just sat against a wall to enjoy the sunshine. The woman has the typical languorous look of a Pre Raphaelite lady and there is some ability in the work. The painting is mounted in the original gilt frame, which hass had some minor repair over the years and the whole is in good untouched condition. The work is signed by monogram ''BG'' but I have been unable to identify it.
