A fine pair of Georgian prints in the original superb quality gilt frames. The prints depict two ladies one is labelled ''Julia'' with a verse from Byron''s Don Juan and thus we can infer that the other is too most likely a character from the work. The prints are both in good condition, being hand coloured, with a slight fading of time. The pair are both labelled with details of the London engraver and the date 1829. The two also have the framers label on the reverse and both are completely untouched, having never been out of the frame. The frames are just lovely, beautifully swept with all the original moulding and gilding.
