A really fine quality oil on canvas portrait of a man dating to the edwardian period. The man is dressed in formal wear with very tidy central parting to his hair. The artist has allowed the sitter to fade into the background. The work is signed but the signature, in the bottom right is illegible, the painting appears to be dated on the back 1912. The work is mounted in a wonderful quality Edwardian period art nouveau frame in oak with moulded floral design. The whole is in very good condition.
