A charming oil on board depicting a ship under full sale at twilight. The painting is signed and dated H.G.Garner 1938, and the artist appears to have been an amateur probably a sailor painting this sort of scene, the work rather charmingly is painted on the back of a board advertising decorating services. The whole is in excellent condition and is mounted in period frame, which has some repair.
