A fine oil on board in rich impasto colours depicting Loch Noir in the uplands of Moray. The work is signed and inscribed on the reverse. The painting is mounted in the original fine quality painted frame and most certainly would have been an exhibited work. I have been able to find out little about John Wilson, who must have been a painter of note as he was made a fellow of the Royal Scottish Academy. The whole is in good condition having been professionally cleaned and is ready hang. C.1930.

We are happy to organise deliveries to all destinations. Delivery of some items will be free depending on size, delivery method, and location. Where charges are made for delivery we try to be as cost effective as possible on your behalf. Deliveries can be organised all over the world so please do ask wherever you are.
