Description

This is a good example of the scarce original colour lithograph by E.Kaufmann dating from about 1845. It was published by R.A. & J.H.Munkmann and is inscribed below the image: "To the Gentry, Farmers, Graziers, Dealers, Tradesmen Etc. of Lincolnshire this engraving of Boston, May Sheep-Fair is most humbly dedicated.. by George Northouse". The picture measures 21"x 28"and is in a good old maple frame giving an overall size of 26"x 34".
