In Alexander Raat's "The life of Governor Joan Gideon Loten (1710-1789), he states on page 209 : " At Bath Mr Clootwyk married Lady Jane Molesworth, grandaughter of Lord Viscount Molesworth, a very charming Lady brought up outside the follies of the great world…..she is 19 year old and possesses of all qualifications to make someone happy, except much money". (London 13 January 1761)."
