Description

This a beautiful colour woodblock etching by Elyse Ashe-Lord (1900-1971) depicting birds in foliage. The etching is signed and inscribed in pencil by the artist and is a trial proof exceuted before the final edition of only 75. The plate size measures 31.5 cms by 27.5 cms. This appears to be in its original frame which is 52 ms by 47 cms overall.

This is one of two good Ashe-Lord Etchings we currently have listed.
