Description

This a beautiful colour woodblock etching by Elyse Ashe-Lord (1900-1971) depicting a bird resting on a branch in foliage. The etching is signed and inscribed in pencil by the artist and is a trial proof executed before the final edition of only 75. The plate size measures 31cms by 29.5 cms. This appears to be in its original frame which is 46 cms by 38 cms overall.

This is one of two good Elyse Ashe Lord etching we currently have listed.
