Arthur Blackburn "Linton, Wetherby, Yorkshire" Pair of Paintings.

Description

Arthur Blackburn was a highly regarded Leeds painter who exhibited work at the Royal Academy around 1890-91. He was noted for his work with Atkinson Grimshaw. This pair of charming oil paintings on board show the village of Linton near Collingham, Wetherby, Yorkshire. Each measures 6" x 9" and is framed in a good hand made gilt frame giving an overall size of 11"x 14". Each picture is signed and is inscribed with the title "Linton near Collingham" on the reverse.
