A framed and glazed painted photograph portrait of William Miles, of Dixfield House in Exeter,
He was a magistrate with a professional interest in horse welfare. His widow presented the Queen Street clock tower to the city of Exeter in memory of her husband.
The photo is in overall very good condition just one minor mark towards top left not detracting from overall appearance at all. The size overall being 17.5 x 19.5 inches approx. the image is 11 x 9 inches approx. I also have for sale a painting of his wife attributed to Solomon alexander hart, see my antique wall for details.
