Country House Fine Art has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The painting is housed in the original frame( hence have not reframed) which is quite fragile with some damage and losses of beading etc could come loose in transit.
WIFE Of William Miles, of Dixfield House in Exeter, he was a magistrate with a professional interest in horse welfare.
His widow presented the Queen Street clock tower to the city of Exeter in memory of her husband . There is a painted photo of him for sale in my shop (see antique wall)Would be nice to keep two together!
