A typically English coaching scene oil on original canvas Signed W J Shayer.junior Dated 1881.

The overall size being 26 x 20 inches approx. (66cm x 51cm) the painting is 15.5 x 11 inches (40cm by 27cm) approx

The painting is in essentially sound condition there is some discoloured varnish/bloom mainly a patch to the bottom right (see photo 8). The painting will benefit from a professional clean

The painting is housed in the original gilt frame which has some losses .Overall a fine piece ready to hang
