A fine oil on board depicting Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The work is typically impressionistic with use of thick impasto oil paint scratched back to the board to distinguish colour, light and texture. The work is obviously of a very talented hand but sadly is unsigned. The painting is mounted in a later french gilt frame with the typical painted slip. The whole is in excellent condition. C.1910.
