Unusual oil on copper miniature depicting an eighteenth century lady, possibly Georgiana Duchess of Devonshire. The painting as is typical of miniatures is done in exquisite detail and it has been mounted in a gilt slip with an eighteenth century gilt frame. The miniature has been professionally cleaned and is in excellent condition. The frame is in untouched condition and has a great old country house look, the whole is ready to hang. C.1900.
