A charming small oil on canvas depicting a portrait of a lady looking lost in thought, it has an air of the Pre Raphaelite about it. The painting is beautifully done but not signed and is most likely copyist''s work of a famous painting or a work done to be used to create a larger work in a studio. The painting is mounted in a beautiful Edwardian period frame and the whole is lovely piece of Edwardian art. C.1900
