Description

Charming Edwardian beach scene of little girl with a spade sat astride a large pile of sand into which is struck the Union Jack flag. In oil on board, presented in a slim gilt frame. Signed M.G Lucas in the lower left corner and dated 1913 (obscured by the frame). With an old mark to the surface (below and to the left of the girl) which appears to have been done when the paint was still wet, otherwise very good condition.
