Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
This is a very good example of a Georgian antique oak Welsh dresser, recently removed from a home on the Lleyn Peninsular o the west coast of Wales, where it has spent it's entire life, originally, the antique oak dresser was made near Porth Madoc.
It is in fabulous condition and has been very well looked after in its lifetime.
The dresser base has six working drawers with two cupboards, the doors are panelled and all the drawers have the original knob handles.
The base also has panelled ends and stands on bracket feet.
A very lovely example of a Georgian antique oak Welsh dresser that dates from around 1790.
