This is a very charming portrait of two children which dates from the 18th century. It depicts a young girl proudly holding a younger child, they are most likely siblings. The oil painting on canvas is laid on board and is within a later antiqued frame which suits it very well. It measures 40cm by 50cm including the frame.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
