Willy Pogany was an Art Nouveau artist in painting and prints and illustrations. He was particularly interested in Fairy Tales and Mythology. His art was particularly detailed and confident.
He then also became interested in theatre and designed stage settings and costumes. He moved to Hollywood and became an art director for various film studios in the 1930's and 1940's.
His works are now very collectable.
