Two 19th Century Chinese Paintings on Rice Paper

Description

These TWO finely painted CHINESE RICE PAPER PAINTINGS of JUNKS date from the 19th Century.

The paintings have been sympathetically remounted and framed and are ready to hang.

The painting of the Junk flying the flag is in overall good condition with strong colours and good detail.

The other painting has a worn patch to the top left corner and some small splits to the paper on the right side edge. The painting itself has good colours.

Both paintings are very decorative and would provide an eye-catching feature.

Height: 10.25 inches (26 cm)

Width: 12.25 inches (31 cm)

Dimensions of smaller painting including frame:

Height: 9.75 inches (25 cm)

Width: 12.5 inches (32 cm)
