Description

This is a beautiful pair of original Chinese paintings on glass dating from around 1900. They depict beautiful young women in traditional Chinese interior settings in silk gowns with really characterful cats featuring predominantly in the scene. The condition of the pair is excellent, with good strong colours and good detail. The paintings are in their original hardwood frames that measure 36 cms wide by 53 cms high with traditional pierced brass decorative hangers.
