A charming early nineteenth century oil painting. The scene shows a river landscape with fisherman, a large boat and an Inn with a bridge. The painting shows a wonderfully busy scene and is superbly painted. The work has been painted on thick paper and laid down on board. The painting appears to be unsigned. The work is mounted in a period nineteenth century gilt frame. The whole has a great faded country house feel. C.1830.
