Quality Oak Aneroid Barometer 1895

1900 - 1920
Description

We are pleased to offer this barometer which is of exceptional quality and in working order.

It measures 38 ins high, 12 ins across with an 8 ins dial.

The condition is excellent. The maker using oak of the finest quality .

The thermometer has been changed from mercury to alcohol to comply with export regulations.

The brass plaque at the base of the barometer states that this piece was donated to a member of the Clergy of the Holy Trinity Church in Wallington in 1895.

I feel that this would have been given to him at around the time it was made.

I would like to think that I could deliver this barometer personally however should we have to use a Courier , I will pack the item myself to avoid any transit damage.
