ALFRED de BYLANDT (Belgian 1829-1890): a large and impressive OIL ON CANVAS landscape entitled "Pyrenees".

Beautifully painted, this depicts a castle surrounded by a village and some trees and a figure in the foreground, nestling above a valley in this mountain range, with snowcapped peaks in the distance.

Fully signed (lower right corner) the canvas is unrestored and could do with a clean, and the frame, whilst original, could benefit from some attention. Measurements including the frame: 48ins x 36ins (122 x 91.5cms)
