Collinge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1750s.

Transitional form top, with an open plate rack flanked on each side with two cupboards over a single drawer. The glazed top doors are an original and rare feature. On a shallow ‘dog kennel’ base, just 16" deep, three drawers over two cupboards with unusual double doors either side of a central recess with an oversized and shaped apron. Of superior quality, other than the back boards and drawer bases the timber is solid oak throughout. With a crisp cornice, square door panels repeated in the base, a moulded lip around the base top, original ebonised knobs with leaf pattern detail to the centres and attractively shaped bracket feet. A couple of the little glass panels are cracked, otherwise condition is excellent, original throughout, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
Dimensions: width 73", depth 16", height 77".
