Description

“The First of September MORNING” and “The First of September EVENING” are a lovely pair of stipple engravings by William Ward each measuring 14"x 18". They are in good period frames giving an overall size of 17"x 21" each and are fine early impressions with good strong colours. They were published May 1st 1799 by T.Simpson, St. Paul's Church Yard. W. Ward, Delancey Place, Hampstead Road and at No. 41, Frith Street, Soho.
