Henry James Haley, British 1874 - 1964, 'The Toy' a pencil and watercolour. c1930.

Henry James Haley is a British visual artist who was born in 1874. He was a Painter, Line and Wood engraver. He studied RA School and Paris Exhibition 1901-31. He painting were mainly romantic and beautifully worked and he jhad influence from the Pre Raphaelites. Works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'School for the Artist' sold at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, Chicago 'American & European Art' in 2013 for $12,500.
