An enchanting watercolour of a beagle that dates to the mid Victorian period, in a gilt frame with gilt mount It is signed by the artist, Miss A.E.Barker. She is listed as working from 1858-1870,and exhibited at the Royal Academy and Suffolk Street. (England, c. 1860)
