A charming set of three oil scenes of Windsor, dating to the mid nineteenth century. The scenes are all painted on wooden panels. Two scenes are of Windsor great park with the castle in the distance and one is probably by association the same area. The paintings are all in the original untouched gilt frames and have always been together. The scenes are typical of the English school of the early to mid nineteenth century, they are quite naive in elements and hugely charming, with the deer and the figures. The paintings are completely untouched and in excellent condition. C.1840
