Description

A pretty set of FOUR late 18th/early 19th century ENGRAVINGS of children at play.

Each hand-coloured print depicts children playing at various games, three of which are titled on the reverse: "The Fair"; "Marbles" etc., and two have original trade labels for "Mr. Parr, Print-Seller and Draughts-man, of Covent Garden, LONDON."

Quite small: 10ins x 9ins including the original gilt frames (25.4 x 22cms). Priced for the set of four:
