Irish Oil Portrait of Elizabeth Strabrane

A fine Victorian copy of the seventeenth century original portrait of Elizabeth Strabrane married to George 4th Baron of Strabrane of Dublin, Ireland. The painting is painted in oils on wooden panel, and is mounted in the original frame from the Dublin framers of Lesage. The work is in good condition with some slight over cleaning in the past but nothing that detracts from the painting. The reverse retains the original framers label and information about the sitter from D'Alton's history of the county of Dublin. C.1860
