An interesting small oil painting on board of a tired French soldie,supposedly on guard,depicted in full ceremonial dress,taking a rest and falling sleep whilst sat on a stone bench,with riffle resting besides him showing beyonet attached.

Painted to a good standard with detail and charactor.
