ANONYMOUS: an attractive and well painted MARINE OIL ON CANVAS, depicting a family fishing, with a Ship of the Line in the distance and the harbour wall in the background.

Whilst apparently unsigned, there is a piece of 'flotsam' in the left corner, on which an indistinct signature can be seen. Quite large: 29ins wide 21ins high approx excluding the rather 'tired' frame. (74 x 53cms). Frame rather 'tired'. c.1840
